SCHA Opens Applications for “WHY We Lead” Leadership Development Series

As part of WHY (Work.Harmony.You.), SCHA's initiative to transform the healthcare workforce experience, we are excited to offer our third leadership development series starting in January 2025! Led by experienced content experts and facilitators with Reveille Executive Coaching and Consulting Services, this 6-session series helps hospital leaders in mid-level management positions enhance and cultivate skills and qualities necessary to successfully lead their teams, drive teamwork and engagement, and embrace change.

The program focuses on developing key competencies such as self-awareness, building trust in relationships, emotional intelligence, effective communication, critical conversations, problem solving, and operational excellence.  Participants will also learn how to effectively manage conflicts and inspire others to achieve their full potential through purposeful and worthwhile work.

WHY We Lead has earned rave reviews from previous participants, including the following testimonials:

The classes were amazing and the lessons learned were priceless.”

I have learned a wealth of valuable information that has transformed my leadership style.”

“I took steps out of my comfort zone on multiple occasions and felt nothing but understanding and support from the leaders and group.”

“I think one of the most important things that I learned is that in order to be effective in a leadership role, you have to put aside the title of manager and see yourself as a leader.”

The sessions will take place the second Thursday of the month at SCHA from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (dates listed below). Please do not apply if you are not able to commit to the dates for all six of the main sessions (Jan-June).
